Karate Five rarely misses an opportunity to include its students in hands-on workshops, tournaments as well as seminars locally including out of town excusions to such tournaments as the Annual World Karate Union Hall of Fame (WKU HOF) Banquet and Tournaments activities in Pennsylvania; Professor Lisa McManis' military Arnis workshops (Pennsylvania, PA; Morristown, TN); the Annual Isshin-Ryu Hall of Fame (IHOF) Banquet and Tournament (Gatlinburg, TN); Jerry Lewis' Annual Cross Roads Karate Games; or Kelly's Heroes Classics Tournament (Rogersville, TN).
Students have attended and participated in other traning and tournament events such as Denny Shaffer's Dragon Jams, Arnis camps, Pete Mills Spring Seminars, Olympic events (Morristown, TN); demonstrations performed at schools, university campuses, outdoor events sponsored by local organizations and many others. Karate Five staff and Instructors especially enjoy the demonstrations they performed for the kids at the Children's Tournaments in Crossville, TN. Grandmaster Wilson has even made a visit to the 2016 Car and Race Show at the Cherokee Drag Strip taking along a few students and parents with him (see link below for pictures).
